R. Friedrich Bliem is an artist at the intersection of science and art. Drawing on his background in science, technology, art, and music, he reveals the hidden patterns and structures of the biological microcosm through vivid artistic expressions. His work transforms these invisible worlds into aesthetically tangible spaces that invite curiosity and discovery. Having lived and worked in Austria, Australia, England, and the USA, he recently completed an artist-in-residence project with the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Network Medicine in Vienna.
